24 hours

It's been awhile since my last post but with a little more time on my hands this next few weeks I figured I would share a few words for those that might be out there needing some encouragement.

Psalms 118:24 says, "This is the day which the Lords has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it."  Each day God grants us 24 hours, we are not guaranteed these hours, they are but a gift to use how we see fit.  Each year God grants us 8,760 hours, we are not guaranteed these hours, they are but a gift to use how we see fit.  Regardless of the crisis all around us, today, this day, is a gift from the Lord.  You will never get this day back, and regardless of your current circumstance, it is yours to use anyway you see fit.

See life is about perspective.  You see through whatever glasses you decide to view life from; whether "rose colored", or "shades of grey", but only you can decide what glasses to view from.  If your day is with your kids, embrace it.  If alone, embrace it.  If with relatives or friend, embrace it.  We may not control our world right now, but we do control what we do in it and how we live it.  God has given you a gift today, 24 little hours of which you will never get back, how will you use it.

May God bless each and every one of you as you squeeze this day for all its worth and see the many blessings around you.

Amen, Donnie. Thank you for this timely reminder. There is so much in our world we can't control, so it's good to be reminded to make the most of what we do control. Love you 😘
