Each morning I can't.  I can't succeed as a therapist, I can't please my wife, she can't please me, we can't have a meaningful relationship, I can't be a good father, my kids can't overcome the pressures of the teenage years, I can't feel good about myself, I can't feel good about my body, I can't overcome my current crisis, I can't handle my financial difficulties, I can't..., I can't..., I can't.  Sound familiar to anyone?

God created us to need Him, and a relationship with Him.  A relationship that provides the utmost in hope and possibilities, must also have in it a need that can not be satisfied within ourselves.  Where we can't, God can.  His design is to finish the work (His work) in us.  We are not created able to accomplish His purpose and plan in ourselves, we are created needing, and in this world needs are plenty.    But it is these needs that also allows the opportunity to see God work in and through us, and to experience Him in a way never before realized.

A friend once asked, "What would your life look like if God did something in your life that was beyond your ability?".  Maybe it looks like today?

Today you can't, but God can, and this is exactly how it should be.  Embrace the can't, and the One that can.

2 Cor. 5:7, "for we walk by faith, not by sight"

I can't, he never said I could.
He can, he always said he would.
