Complete

It seems like everywhere I look people are striving for completeness.  They're searching for that special person or circumstance that makes life all come together.  It is as if the perfect job, spouse or friend will bring us a lifetime of peace, security and joy.  And when we don't find it, we keep looking, in the same place.  Is it any wonder that we have so much stress and anxiety in our world today?

The only lasting peace, security and joy that will stand the test of time, must come from a power greater than ourselves.  To look for completeness in an incomplete world is a search with no end.  Christ said, "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing (John 15:5)."    A life surrendered to Christ is one that can not be duplicated or replaced.  It will affect every aspect of your life, but every aspect of your life can not replace its effect.
