For me personally, the line between self reliance and trust in God is often very blurry.  I think it is in my DNA to want to do things in my own power and ability.  I know if is often very hard to rely on other people, much less God.

But I also recognize how my pride gets in the way of a deeper relationship with God.  God wants my totaly submission.  He wants me to rely only on Him.  My power and ability will never be enough for what He has planned for my life.  To expect anything different is minimizing the Creator.

Complete and total dependence is complete and total power and peace.

Ephesians 6:10, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might."
