Last night Oklahoma felt its third earthquake in as many days.  Add this to an already crazy year of record snow fall, droughts and heat, and you have many talking about the end of time.  How lonely a time this most be for those without a savior.  How much  I rely each day for peace through my Lord.  Life very seldom makes sense.  Truth be told, it rarely makes sense.  But God is God, and He is ever present and never changing.  My peace and joy is a condition of who He is, not where I am.  No matter what life brings me today, my joy will be made complete through Jesus and what He did on the cross.

Romans 8:37-39 (NAS), "But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.  For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Life happens, but the Lord reins.

From another protcepsive:a. Age - why is it that when we grow older we need more medical care? At which age are we talking about here? My friend's grandfather is 70 and he is still very healthy and never visited a doctor ... and for many years, not even down with flu or cold. since we have a healthy lifestyle these days, we are suppose to have less medical care.b. Isn't technological advances supposed to bring medical cost down? If technology advances increase medical costs, then why have them research in the first place?Regards.
