Ephesians 3:20-21, "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever.  Amen.

Anticipation and expectations always get me into trouble.  The fact the God is able to exceed my wildest dreams does not mean He will, or that it is necessarily the best thing for me.  God's ability and unconditional love gives me hope and anticipation of His blessings, but He is also God and I am not.

The glory that God deserves from me is that of my unconditional love and commitment to Him as Lord, not as provider.  My anticipation and desire should not be on things below, but on things above, that someday He will say to me, "Well done thy good and faithful servant (Matt. 25:23)".
