finish line

I finished a race yesterday.  It wasn't a marathon or triathlon, but more of a life race.  This race was one of emotions and anxiety, of which I had never experienced in my life.  You see, after fighting a battle with her health for over 3 months, my wife received a bill of good health yesterday from the doctor.  I celebrate today after crossing the finish line of my most challenging race yet.  I am grateful for the presence of my Lord and Savior throughout this entire experience, for without this I am not sure how I would have survived, much less grown in my faith.

I am also very aware that as long as I have breath in my lungs the storms of life will always linger in the distance.  But I am ever grateful and confident of God's continued presence in my life despite these storms, and as He walk with me before, He will walk with me again.
