Romans 12:2, "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect".

Emotions are a part of life.  They effect every aspect of our day from what we eat, to how we spend our time, to even how we sleep.  Yet the ability to master our emotions often hold the key to our ability to a complete (and perfect) relationship with God.  Each day with have the opportunity to use our minds over our emotions.  Whether it is deciding to spend time with God over sleeping in, or deciding to play games with our kids over collapsing in front of the TV, or even deciding to pass on dessert, our minds often hold the key to our growth as human beings, and as Christians.  But it is our obligation to see this as a choice rather than to be a slave of our emotions.

Definitely consider that which you said. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the internet the simplest factor to be mindful of.
