This Saturday my little girl will attend her first dance.  It is a celebration with her classmates as they leave junior high and enter the world of high school.  I am very proud of my little girl, and see her beauty second only to her mother.  Madi is a product of a wonderful and loving mother.  She is so very blessed to have someone in her life like Heather that would give her life for her special daughter.

We are all a product of our mothers.  Good, bad or indifferent, God gave mother's a special place in the lives of children.  Mary was called favored (Luke 1:30) as she was uniquely chosen to be the mother of our Savior.  And each of us have a mother uniquely chosen for us.  This is not to say that mother's are perfect.  I have seen enough damage from mother/daughter relationships to last me a life time.  But I still believe God chooses our mother's, and His design is without flaw and perfect.  This is not to say mother's are perfect, only God's design, and don't forget they were also a product of their mothers, and so on.  But make no mistake, your mother was not an accident.

I was amazingly blessed with a mom of incredible strength, love and determination.  She raised me and my brother on her own for a time, without hesitation.  She effectively managed the many obstacles that come from blended families, and never once stop loving us with her actions, words and heart.  I am fortunate and appreciative of what God did in making her my mom.  I am also blessed to see the wonderful mom of my children embrace them and her role with amazing dedication, passion and commitment.  Heather is a wonderful mother, and my children our blessed to have her.  I hope and pray that they will continue to appreciate God's hand and design in choosing her for them.

This weekend as we celebrate Mother's Day take the opportunity to appreciate the mom God chose for you.  Your relationship may not be perfect, but it was ordained, and you are a product of it.  Created in His image and for His purpose.

Why not do something numeuors with your bathroom decor? Everybody can have a plain bathroom with white fixtures and a plain shower curtain, but your retro bathroom will show off your personality and add a hip and distinctive touch to your property. Just like with fashion, household decor alternatives also repeat history, and nowadays retro is additional well-liked than ever. Regardless of whether you have inherited a retro (to say the least) bathroom, or just enjoy that retro look, a bathroom is really a fun and funky space to play up the vintage style.

I am a fan of both facebook pages. My fautirvoe summer memory would be the long days we spent at the beach, our noses covered with fluroescent pink, green or yellow zinc. We would take turns on our mum's surf mat, and dad would help us catch waves on his surfboard. We would get dumped over and over again by the shore breaks, and come up laughing with sand in our hair and our swimmers. The water was very crowded until the shark alarm sounded or until we heard Green sleeves playing- signalling the arrival of Mr Whippy. At the end of the day we would sit by the water and eat fish and chips for dinner, before heading home for a restful sleep, ready to do it all over again the next morning. I hope I can provide the same lifestyle for my family.
