I recall one summer climbing Crested Butte mountain with Heather and the kids.  It was a long, hot climb with many moving rocks and steep ascents.  I remember all of us being discouraged at some point wondering if we would ever make it to the top.  Once we arrived the view was second to none.  We sat for some time enjoying lunch, time together, and a 360 degree picture only God could paint.

Recently I have had times of discouragement and frustration wondering if I was capable of making the ascent.  But I have also enjoyed times at the top with clear views of my loving Lord and what He is capable of.  As long as we are on this earth, life will continue to offer all of us various views.  The key is to see God in all of them.

Psalm 16:11, "You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your 37hand there are pleasures forever."

Psalm 37:23-24, "The steps of a man are established by the Lord, and He delights in his way.  When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong, because the Lord is the One who holds his hand."
