Sometimes the past is a place we would rather forget, but many times the lessons for tomorrow are written in the past, and it is necessary to go back. This can bring up old ghost of pain, hurt and negative self-image from our past. Yet the God we serve love’s the person of yesterday, today and tomorrow, and His love is without ceasing. We can take comfort in knowing that He is very aware of the person we use to be, and loves us even more because of it. You see where sin increased; grace abounded (Rom. 5:20).
