2 Thessalonians 3:16, "Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance.  The Lord be with you all!!!

One week from this very morning, I will jump off a ferry in San Francisco Bay (on purpose), as I start the "Escape from Alcatraz".  Thinking about the 52 degree water temperature, the current, the hills, makes the verse above a needed comfort.  But let's be honest, this is only a race, and far from times of conflict, many face in our world on a daily basis.

So can the Lord really grant peace in EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE?  Being as He is the Lord of peace, peace originates from Him.  The presence of the Lord is peace.  It is His nature.  To have Him in your life, is to have peace in your life.  One is a product of the other, but without one you can not have the other.  Regardless of your circumstances, lasting peace can only come from the Lord.  Substitutes will only be temporary, true peace comes from the true Lord.

May He grant you peace today, not as a gift, but through His presences in your life.

I've been a pinning fool lalety in the hopes I've finding the inspiration (and the time) to participate in this challenge. I actually just pinned some yummy recipes this week to try next week, so maybe i'll go that route. Even though I'd love to do something more creative with my home. Either way, this is a great idea!
