Post Easter

After the wonderful celebration of Christ resurrection this weekend, Monday morning can hit  me like a Mack truck.  The pressures, temptations and conflict often left on Friday afternoon is waiting for us on Monday morning.  Almost all mountain top experiences lead to the eventual acescent to the valley below.  In Hebrews 12:1-2, we are called to lay aside every encumbrance..and run the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross..  Christ ran with endurance for what was set before Him, the finish line, eternity with the Father in glory.  We also can run the race of life with endurance, with our eyes set on Christ each and every day, and the joy that comes from His presence today and for eternity.

You are so right on the mark! GOD knows and is ultimately in cgrhae no matter who is in power. The scriptures testify that it is our GOD who gives even the worst of leaders in the world the power. We may not understand all that now..but we know what we have been called to while we are just exiles here...our home is more than we can imagine!Love in HIM,Teri
