This morning as I studied Mark 4, I found myself relating with the disciples in the boat with Jesus.  Verse 37 says, "And there arose a fierce gale of wind, and the waves were breaking over the boat so much that the boat was already filled up".  I can so much relate to "a fierce gale of wind" and "waves" breaking over my boat.  Life seems to be a constant set of storms, one after another, filling my boat with water.  Yet as I look back at my life, Christ was (and is) always there to see me through.  How easy it is to forget how much God has already done in our lives, and will continue to do in this life of ever-present storms.

I found Him today saying to me as he said to the disciples in v. 40, "Why are you afraid?  Do you still have no faith?"  The answer is yes.  I have faith in a loving God who has been there, is there now and will always be there.
