The Search

What is it that you seek after today?  What is it that you spend so much of your time, energy and emotions pursuing?  What takes up your thoughts and effects your relationships?  What is the end goal and destination that drives you forward (or at times backwards)?

We are all in search of something.  Many I meet each day seek value or validation that they are good enough, in their work, relationships or lives.  Some seek a reprieve from the past as they try to create another world void of the memories of past loss or abuse.  While others just want some amount of security in their lives, either with relationships or from their many anxieties in a world full of chaos.  Yet how often do we actually find what we seek?  How many times do we reach that destination only to find ourselves wanting or needing more?

Man has been created to seek, because we have been created needing our Creator.  Sin has separated us therefore we are incomplete until what is missing has been replaced (daily).  Acts 17:27-28 says, "that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope (love that word) for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;  for in Him we live and move and exist).

We are all on a search in this life.  Life is but a search for significant, for purpose.  We are lost when are search leads us to anything other than a lasting peace regardless of circumstances.

When I initially commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is
added I get four emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove people from that service?

Appreciate it!

I've been surfing online greater than three hours nowadays, but I by no means found any
fascinating article like yours. It's beautiful value
sufficient for me. In my opinion, if all website owners and bloggers made just
right content material as you probably did, the net will be much more useful than ever
before.
