Following God is not always easy and generally leads to times of discomfort and uneasiness.  It is the avoidance of these times that keep many from a closer, deeper relationship with the Lord.  However, in my experience, it is these times that offer a depth of growth that can not be duplicated.  To truly know the Lord, we must learn to truly trust in Him, which comes at times when trust in ourselves is not enough.

Psalms 37: 3-5, "Trust in the Lord and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.  Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it."
