Paul said, "for when I am weak, then I am strong (2 Cor. 12:10b)".  Paul knew how strong man's tendency is to fight our weaknesses.  I am as guilty as the next of avoiding or hiding my weaknesses to appear strong to others, and often to myself.  Weak moments are not often seen as highlights in our journey through life.  However, as I reflect on my highlights, it was at these moments that I felt God's presence the most.  It was at my weakest moments that I felt renewed strength and eternal clarity.  It was at these moments that I felt strong, and was strong.

God's strength comes when we disappear.  Weak moments bring us to a place of submission, of reliance on someone else.  It is at these times when we disappear and God appears.  May you and I experience more weak moments of strength today.
