John 17:4, "I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do."

Christ glorified the Father while on earth by accomplishing the work set before Him.  We are called to the same task during our limited time on earth.  However, this is not the work of a career, but more of the use our God-given talents to increase the kingdom of heaven, and to lead others to a greater knowledge and appreciation of the Lord.

To do the Lord's work is to sacrifice our own sense of self and desires, and to submit to His will, timing and provisions, to accomplish His tasks.  We are but His instrument, and lives will be changed through His work, in us.

Hi superb website! Does running a blog such as this require
a large amount of work? I've absolutely no knowledge of
computer programming but I had been hoping to start
my own blog soon. Anyway, if you have any ideas
or techniques for new blog owners please share. I know this is
off subject however I simply had to ask. Thanks a lot!
